This month is a big one for me as I transition my blog from WordPress.com to self-hosting (with Bluehost) here at www.jessicagoodenough.com! For those who are interested in this kind of thing I may at some point do a “behind the scenes” post on the process of blogging and the things you need to set up for your blog to work. Anyway, I will be celebrating this transition with my first giveaway, so read on for that!
Content-wise, in June I will be writing about how to take yourself to the next level physically, with different fitness challenges. I will also be sharing my ultimate guide to doing a digital detox – the tips are all doable and will give you greater clarity and calm! As I said in my May recap, doing a digital detox was exactly what I needed, and it felt so good that I kept going after the initial week was over.
In terms of travel inspiration, I will bring you a guide to the “marvelous city” – Rio de Janeiro. Obviously you cannot experience all the magic it has to offer in a short period of time, but I will provide you with tried-and-tested ways to soak it a lot of it up, so that you leave already thinking of when you’ll return. A quick reminder: Rio-inspired apparel and accessories are available here (each image is available on a range of products). Half of my proceeds go to help a local NGO that advocates for the residents of the favelas.
I attended a day-long workshop about permaculture recently – a refreshing burst of optimism after the anxiety of the elections – I look forward to exploring permaculture and related ideas here as well.
My personal objectives for June are:
- Get up at 6 six times a week
- Build back up to a 30 minute run
- Launch this website with a giveaway – see below!
To win my “kickstart your summer” pack all you need to do is share this post! The winner will be selected randomly at the end of the month and will receive my May book of the month Say Goodbye to Survival Mode + the inspiring novel Wild + a journal to start writing down goals and brilliant ideas! The winner must have an address that Amazon and Redbubble can ship to in order to receive the prizes.
Please bear with me while I work out the kinks of using WordPress.org!
